Hi! I’m Rachel, but my friends call me RG.
Short bio: RG Stones writes for children and young adults. She has an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts and teaches English for Arizona State University. A portion of RG’s heart resides in her home state of Idaho. The rest of her body lives in Arizona, where the sun shines year-round. She and her husband have four bookworms they adore and a family of gophers they don’t adore.

Q: How tall are you?
A: Not tall enough! My goal in life was 6’2″. I only reached 6’1″ and sadly, I have shrunk a bit with age. I comfort myself with tall shoes.

A: My love for The Office is incalculable.
Q: What’s your favorite food?
A: Anything I don’t have to cook. Leftovers excite me.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
A: Samoa! I lived there for a short time in my twenties and didn’t want to leave.
